October 18th is the first day of early voting. You don’t need an excuse or
reason to vote early, and you can do so in person at any of the designated
polling locations in your parish. For more information and to find your early
voting location, please click here. Early Voting is open every day of the week,
except for Sunday, and ends on October 29th.
November 1st is the last day to request an absentee ballot, except for certain
extenuating circumstances. Voters do need a reason to vote absentee. To
find eligible reasons — and to find more information about absentee voting —

PURGED VOTER PROTECTION PROJECT
Want to help contact disenfranchised voters to ensure they are registered to

The LDP is partnering with the DNC’s Civic Engagement and Voter Protection
Department to contact more than 13,000 inactive Democratic voters in
Louisiana to notify them of their recent purge, encourage them to re-register,
and provide important voting information for this fall’s election.
